Great portions and a wonderful flavor to all their dishes. Dinning in is better than take out but it's a good way to explore viet food

My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Austin for classic dishes like Thit Kho, canh cua and banh khot. Service is always fast and friendly. I like the open kitchen. The owner is great and always coming around to make sure everyone is enjoying everything!

Ordered the Bun Thit Cha Gin (Vermicili bowl with Pork and egg rolls) and it was a sizable portion. Easily two or three meals and very generous. The pork was well seasoned and not too fatty. Also they are very generous with the egg rolls in this dish. Most other Vietnamese restaurants only give two egg rolls - this had a whole layer of bite sized egg roll pieces. This place is popular being so close to all the office parks in Tech Ridge and there are many reputable local food bloggers that rank this up in their lists. Can't wait to try their other dishes to get a better gauge where they compare with other classics in Austin.

One of the Vietnamese restaurants I continue to go to! The service is quick and I've taken my parents here. It is việt parent approved We love the noodle dishes and fried flat noodles!

Went here because I saw the recs from Facebook. Between 4 of us we shared: - Banh khot - Canh chua (small) - Pork belly clay pot - Fried noodle special Banh khot was good, but felt like the portions were small. It looked like it was made in a takoyaki pan and then cut in half since there were "blank" baby pieces. For the price I expected more. The soup portion was much bigger than we expected for the size we ordered, so this felt like a generous serving. The fried noodle was pretty good! I enjoyed the texture of the noodle. We got the combo but I was a bit sad that tofu wasn't included. Pork belly clay pot was really small too. The fried boiled egg was interesting but I don't think it was worth the price. Overall they have some good more unique options in Austin but you pay for it!

Tasty. My word for this place. I tried it another time before but didn't write a review yet and I heard so many great things about it so I had to try then. I also know my friend's mom works here too so I intend to visit. So that first time I was glad to have tried. The 3 dishes she recommended were the ap chao, bun bo hue and shaking beef so I knew I had to get those at least. And sure enough I loved the ap chao then and the shaking beef was so darn tasty! Both so good! The bun bo hue was good too but it was just too rich and sweet for me BUT it's supposed to be that way. So do get it if you like that dish. Ok 2nd time I came here we came because my elderly mom wanted pho and most pho places close so early on weekdays but this place didn't so I chose it for a family dinner that night. My mom enjoyed her pho and even took some home. 1 thing I like about this place is that they give so much! It's really shareable and you will have leftovers. I had to get the ap chao and shaking beef again and sure enough it didn't disappoint. The beef was better this time meanwhile the ap chao was better the first time for lunch. Not sure why. My husband loves Vietnamese pancakes and when we saw how big it was at the table next to us we had to get it. He loved it! My boys got the pad Thai lol not sure why even the waiter was like get something else ha but they did enjoy it. My girl got this stir fry noodle dish and she really liked it too. So all in all it was all very tasty. The place is nice and spacious and clean too. It's so near our schools and house. It's a good find. It's just in a peculiar shopping area and easy to miss but everything we've ordered has been tasty. They have an extensive menu too and oh it's priced a bit higher than other places near $20s on some dishes but again their plates are huge. Well worth! Enjoy!

Quick service, we sat down and ordered quickly. Our food came out pretty quick. The Bo luc lac was the best I've had in Austin! Such great flavor. It was pricy but well worth it. The bun rieu was good but it was missing the rieu. There was only one piece of rieu which wasn't enough for a dish called bun rieu. It's less shrimpy flavor than what I like but it was still good. They give a lot of noodles though so it was definitely filling. Will for sure be back to try the bun Bo hue!
